An Easton Wedding – The Rehearsal

18 Jul

Congratulations to my friends Joe & Jane!  I was honored to be a part of their beautiful wedding in Easton, Maryland this past weekend.  I had such a great time and I’m so excited to tell you all about it 🙂

Trevor and I took a 1/2 day off work on Friday to get on the road and beat the beach traffic.  After a short pit-stop at the outlets we were at our hotel in Easton by 3:30.  We settled in and got ready for the rehearsal which started at 5:30.

The Easton Club was only a couple miles from the hotel so it was very convenient to get to.  The weather was perfect and the rehearsal went quick!  Joe was a little nervous about repeating the vows, but I can tell you the next day he had no trouble at all 🙂

The scenery at the club was gorgeous!  We took lots of pictures 🙂

After the rehearsal we headed to the Tidewater Inn for Dinner.  It was AMAZING!!  For appetizers we had lollipop lamb chops, ahi tuna bites, crab dip and artichoke dip.  Dinner included hand carved turkey and beef, hand tossed ceasar salad, rockfish bites and crab balls.

Not only was the food great, but the setting was perfect.  We had a huge outdoor space with Adirondack chairs, it was just lovely!  I told Trevor I would love to go back to the Tidewater Inn for a weekend getaway 🙂

We were exhausted by the end of the night!  Around 10:30 we headed back to the hotel to get a good night sleep for the next day.  We didn’t have to start getting ready until 12:30 so we were all happy to be able to sleep in the next morning 🙂

Tomorrow’s post will be all about the wedding day…stay tuned!
